The festive season is blooming and everyone is pretty much excited about it.Navaratri is around the corner and I am sure you must have started to find thebest chaniya choli for dandiya nights already. Navaratri means nine nights fullof lights, colors, pooja, dandiya, garba, rasleela and what not. And how can we forget chaniya choli? Chaniya Choli is an absolutely gorgeous outfit with all those mirror work, shine, and shimmer but for nine days in a row isn’t it a bit difficult to handle. Especially, lehenga choli becomes too repetitive for those who are going to play dandiyas for nine days in a row. Don’t worry. Here I am ready with 9 simple yet classy outfits ideas for the nine nights of Navaratri especially for those who don’t want to go for chaniya choli or lehenga every single night.
1. Anarkali Kurti
So, my first outfit is Anarkali Suit. Anarkali Suits are pretty much in trends nowadays. These are super comfy and easy to carry during dandiyas if choose properly by keeping the length of kurti you are comfortable with. Just try to have dark shades as dark shades look eye-catchy during nights. To help you I can say, you can simply go for something like this in a picture below as Navy blue is the first color of Navratri.
How can we forget about sarees in Indian festivals? The outfit which is loved by almost every other Indian woman. The most Indian outfit which perfectly enhances the beauty of any shape or sized woman. Saree is adored by each and every single lady but in today’s lifestyle, it is being too difficult to wear saree every single day. So why shouldn’t we use this opportunity to wear it? You can go for Gujju style saree if you specifically want Navaratri look. Something like this shown in the picture below.
3. Dhoti Kurta
Yes, you read it correct “Dhoti Kurta.” There was the time when Dhoti Kurtas were so popular among girls. It is my personal favorite. For me, this outfit is like a savior when I am in no mood to wear something heavy and perfect for the moods like “I have nothing to wear.”? You can definitely use it as one of the Navratri dresses. Go for plain kurtas with embroidered dhoti salwar or vice versa. Both the combinations are fine and look elegant. I have attached images for your reference.
How can I forget about palazoos, especially when we are talking about festivals, Navratri and fashion trends? If you to pull some easy, carefree, comfy yet classy look then palazzos are definitely for you. Be careful with colors as I already told you that bright shades stand out better. Have a look at this palazzo first and then decide.
Yes, you can totally rock dandiya nights with Ethnic Gowns. There are so many embroidered ethnic gowns are available in the market which actually pulls out a perfect Navaratri look. Plus point is that there are so many gowns available in the market those looks gets matched with so many other attires like Anarkali suits, lehenga choli etc. So, something like this can work well for the 5th day of Navaratri.
6. Jackets & Shrugs
Jackets and shrugs can be a complete game changer when you are too tired to dress up and give you that simple yet funky and classy look. Go for mirror work, embroidered jackets, and shrugs with your plain kurta and jeans. There are so many jackets and shrugs are available in the market specially designed for Navaratri and dandiya.
If you are ready to put some extra efforts on your look and open for experiments you can definitely try some fashion fusion i.e. Indo-Western outfits. Indo-Western never goes out of fashion and gives you a unique look.
8. Lehenga Choli
The most popular outfit or we can say the outfit of Navaratri is Lehenga Choli and Chaniya Choli. Experiment a little bit by going for cold shoulders and off shoulders choli for a classy look. Go subtle with jewellery as lehenga choli is enough to add shimmer and shine to your look.
9. Jewelry & Dupatta
If you are someone who doesn’t prefer heavy look or makeup and wants to keep it natural & subtle then experiment with dupattas and jewellery. Go for a heavy dupatta with plain, simple salwar kameez or pair boho’s neckpieces and earrings with plain salwar kameez or kurti-jeans similar to the picture below.
